son's of leisure

so you may have noticed that this blog heavily features aussie menswear label circle park. that's because a little while back i was asked by the head designer of the "son's of leisure" crew, to style the look book and a teaser campaign for the brand, as well as collaborate in a special range entitled "hector ramone".

it has been a long time coming but finally circle park clothing and the "hector ramone" series is now available for purchase online and exclusively at the konzepp boutique in hong kong.

finally i can show you the shots from the look book shoot, shot in hong kong a little while back by my good friend jessica klingelfuss. the team we had on the day was dope, everyone was vibing of each other's energy, and as you may have already seen in the behind the scenes footage, we got a bit loose and stupid. fun times.

check it out below.

the venetian, macau

my older brother gino has come to hong kong for the first time and he's found out just how easy it is to spend up big. amazing fashion and brands are so accessible that you cant help but be sucked in by the shopping and awesome sales around you.

i've been really into animal print, especially leopard. so was pretty jealous when my brother picked up these ill givenchy leopard jeans. but, i did manage to find myself this comme des garcons leopard number. i'm pretty stoked about that.

to make some of his money back, we took a short trip over to macau and stopped in at the venetian. it was such a great day hanging out, drinking and gambling. it has been so dope having my brother come visit!

sheung wan, hong kong

one thing in hong kong that i have noticed that i guess translates to a lot of other countries, is that during the winter season, black and grey becomes a staple in everyones wardrobe.

people tend to step their fashion game up into high gear during the colder months, accessorising and layering like crazy, but for some reason forget about colour. it's kind of strange that a time of year surrounded by so many holidays and parties, people are sticking to the monotone palette. don't get me wrong, i am still very much into navy for this winter, i'm no stranger to the black hoodie, black socks, black beanies etc. as well, but i think during this festive period, i was expecting to see more.

i think amongst all this black and grey, i'm feeling inspired to bust out more colour and print.
