it's been a while since i last shot with eve, she's always dope to work with and totally understands what i'm trying to achieve with my styling, she's great and i'm really looking forward to collaborating together again.
a little while ago we shot for "youth and freedom" magazine, a new york based publication. while we were shooting that day, we came across this bright orange wall, it was such an amazing find to stumble upon such vibrancy among all the grey cement alleyways of the city. it gave us a burst of energy which basically led to some amazing shots which we unfortunately, would not be able to publish all.
i was going through some old shoots and i came across this shoot again, i forgot how much i loved the shots, they work so well as a story so thought i would share them.
enjoy.

the rose that grew from concrete
a little while back i had the pleasure of working with cara g and a photographer favorite of mine, dicky manana.
the concept was simple, a little bit of luxury, a little bit of hip-hop, and a little bit moody. we only had a little bit of time too so am really happy with how the shots turned out.
there was no doubt that cara would deliver, she went above and beyond, and as did dicky. both putting themselves at risk, literally living on the edge. i'm freaked out by heights so watching the two of them on the edge of a roof wasn't exactly fun for me, but it was definitely worth it.
enjoy.
